Our Mission
Time zones are confusing. Daylight saving changes happen at different dates in different countries. Remote teams span a dozen time zones. We built What Time Is It to make answering the simple question — "what time is it there?" — as fast and frictionless as possible. No clutter, no account required, just the time.

Our Data
All time calculations are performed directly in your browser using the IANA timezone database — the same database used by your operating system and every major programming language. This means our times are as accurate as your device's clock. We cover over 170 major cities across all continents, with IANA timezone identifiers for every location.
Privacy First
